PETERSBURG, Fla. World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. Has reinstated Hulk Hogan in his Hall of Fame, 3 years after he was found to used racial slurs in a dialogue caught on a sex tape. The Connecticut based firm left the announcement in a statement Sunday. This second opportunity follows Hogan’s many public apology along with volunteering into work with young people, where he’s helping them learn from his error, the organization wrote. Hogan told his 2.2 million followers on Twitter:” I’ve been praying for this afternoon and I eventually look like I made it back home. Only Love 4 the .WWEUNIVERSE brother, he wrote.

The 64 year-old Hogan, whose actual name is Terry Bollea, apologized from 2015 for using offensive language from a dialogue a long time before that. On the recording, he was captured talking about his daughter sleeping with a black guy and utilized the N word. It was unsuitable for me to utilized that language that is offensive, there is no explanation for it, along with I apologize for having completed it, Hogan said at the time. The remarks came into light in a combined report from RadarOnline.com and The National Enquirer, that said Hogan had used racist insults in a dialogue caught on a gender video that was the topic of an invasion of privacy suit.

Hogan, maybe the biggest star in WWE’s five years history, was the primary draw for the first WrestleMania from the year 1985 and has been a fixture for several years in its trademark Event, facing everybody from Andre The Giant along with Randy Savage into The Rock as well as company chairman Vince McMahon. He won six WWE championships along with was featured in the WWE own Hall of Fame in 2005 by Sylvester Stallone. But he had been able to transcend his Hulkamania fans becoming a celebrity outside the wrestling world, appearing from several movies and TV shows, including a reality show about his life on VH1, Hogan Knows Best.

In 2016, a Florida jury awarded $140 million into Hogan from a privacy case revolving around the gender tape, that was posted on Gawker.com. The site released a movie of Hogan having gender with a friend’s wife. Gawker claimed that its footage was noteworthy and protected by the First Amendment. Silicon Valley billionaire Peter Thiel bankrolled Hogan’s suit against Gawker, raising concerns about the energy of the rich against the media.
