Since, the ancient time the tradition of bullfighting has been prevalent. Though, bullfighting started in Spain, during the eight long centuries of the Spanish War of Reconquest (711-1492 A.D.). However, the first real fight took place in 1133 at Vera, Logroño in honor of the coronation of King Alfonso VIII.
