The game Cornhole toss is played by using two cornhole boards and bags filled with corn. All the boards are positioned approx 30 feet apart, and the player throws from in between. The players throw bags at each cornhole board, trying to make make into board or the hole. If a bag lands somewhere on the board or inside the hole on the board, points are scored. The game can be played with two people in two teams, or individually also. A tournament can be organized with up to 12 players.

The game of horseshoes is very similar to the game of cornhole. You get many advantages when you play cornhole in comparison to horseshoes. The best thing about cornhole is that it is safe and friendly game for kids. There are more chances of your little one getting hurt while playing horseshoes, but in cornhole it is nil. Horseshoes is an extremely dangerous game, and players often get several injuries while playing it.

The boards used in cornhole are extremely portable, and can be stored inside the garage, shed or any other storage place. Whereas, permanent stakes and sand pits in the ground are required for horseshoes, which is more space occupying. There are many people who love the game of horseshoes, but they hate the thought of putting in a sand pit and the stakes.

Cornhole should be regarded as an outdoor game, as it requires two large boards to be spread almost 30 feet apart from each other. It is the need for space that force you to play the game of cornhole outdoors. The similarities between cornhole and horseshoes make cornhole a great game for those looking for safer versions of horseshoes.
