Followings are the details of new scoring system as well as traditional scoring system:

New scoring system (21-point system)
  1. A match consists of the best of 3 games, and each and every game consists of 21 points.
  2. And the side that will manage to win the rally adds a point to its score. No matter which side was serving and which was not.
  3. At 20 all, that means that when the scores will be 20-20, the side which gains a 2 point lead first, will the announced as a winner.
  4. At 29 all, the side that will manage to score the 30th point first, will be declared the winner of that game.
  5. The side winning a game, will serve first as far as the next game is concerned.
  6. When one side reaches 11 points, the both the players will get a 60 sec break in between.
  7. As far as the doubles matches are concerned, only one service is allowed.
  8. Player at right court will serve when the points are even. (for example: 0,2,4,6,8,10)
  9. Player at left court will serve, of course when the points are odd. (for example: 1,3,5,7,9,11)
  10. Other old (15-point system) rules are same like before. That means no changes at all.
Traditional scoring system (15-point system)
  1. A match consists of the best of 3 games, and each and every game will be arrayed with 15 points. Here we are not talking about the ladies single which consists of 11 points each game.
  2. Only the one will manage to win the rally and with serve will get an additional point that will be added to its score. But on the other hand if the player loses the rally, service will be transferred over to opponent and no one will get any point.
  3. The opponent now must win the rally if he really wants to have a point in his kitty. If he does, he will gain a point and above all, will have the serve with him. Also he will gain another if he win the rally again. But if he loses the rally, then the opponent will get to serve with no point added to both side and this continue.
  4. At 14 all, the side that not holding the serve will have the ultimate decision whether to play for those additional 3 points or not. But as far as the ladies single is concerned, the scenario to consider would be 10 all.
  5. Player at right court will serve when even point and vica-versa for the player at the left court.
  6. 2 serves are allowed for doubles game
