• You can often get fatigues due to sun and wind. Wear sunglasses to overcome this problem.




• Most of the riders have problems of getting swollen feet after riding several miles. This problem is due to wearing sneakers, which restrict blood circulation and cause pain. So, you should loose the shoelace and straps to lessen the discomfort.




• Keeping head in a fixed position will prevent sore neck. Tilt your head to one side and then another side for a while at the time of riding. This will make your riding more natural and highly comfortable.




• Every rider should do stretching exercise daily as it provides more motion and flexibility to your body. Regular stretching exercise will also reduce the chances of muscle and joint injuries.




• Change your grip on handlebars as gripping the handlebars for a long time in one position can lead to numbness. You can also wear padded gloves or handlebar covers to softening the grip.




• Replace the stem on your bike with the one, which rises until the handlebar is an inch below the top saddle.




• If you find your triceps muscles fatigued and sore, then this might be because your stem is too long. If the stem is short, then your shoulder muscles will sore.




• After riding a strenuous path, slow down your ride and avoid hills for next ten minutes. This will give enough time to muscles to react accordingly and will reduce the chances of soreness.




• It is suggested that riders should not overdress in cold weather because your body might feel cold in first one or two miles, but it will warm up after that and you will feel hot.




• Drink lot of water at a gap of 10 minutes in a strenuous ride to avoid dehydration.
